OF EIGHTH STREET BETWEEN CUSTER AND SEVENTEENTH
STREETS AS SHOWN ON PRECISE PLAN OF STREET ALIGN-
MENT NO. 28
WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Planning
Commission has recommended,by its Resolution No. 5832, that that
portion of Specific Plan of Street Alignment ~28 lying between
Custer Street and Seventeenth Street be adopted for the convenience
and general welfare of the people of the City of Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS, after public hearing before the City Council,
notice as required by law, said Council determined that the
recommendation of the Planning Commission be adopted;
on
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana hereby finds and determines that the public
interest, necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that
a precise plan of street alignment of Eighth Street, between Custer
and Seventeenth Street, be established, and said Council hereby
adopts the street alignment plan of said street as shown on a
detailed drawing entitled "P.P.S.A. 28, EIGHTH ST., SANTIAGO ST. TO
SEVENTEENTH ST.", copie~ of which said drawing are on file in the
Department of Public Works and in the Planning Department of the
city of Santa Aha for inspection by the public.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of March, 1~968..
