TERtlITORY DESIGNATED "DYER AND GRAND NORTHWEST
ANNEX NO. 2" TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
Wq~EREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange
County has approved a description of territory hereinbelow contained
and annexation of said territory to the City of Santa Ana, California;
and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of Government
Code Section 54797.1, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange
County has approved and authorized the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana, california, to annex said territory without notice and
hearing by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Aha, California, hereby finds and declares that said
territory was uninhabited at the time of the adoption of this
Resolution, and is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana; that all of
the statements hereinabove are true and correct; and that said
territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City
existing at the time of this annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That all of the territory in the
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Commencing at the point of intersection of the South line of the
Northeast quarter of Section 30, Township 5 South, Kange 9 West,
San Bernardino Base and Meridian, said line being the center line
of Dyer Road, with the Northwesterly line of Irvine's Subdivision,
as shown on a map recorded in Book 1, Page 88, of Miscellaneous
Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County;
thence North 88° 15' 18" West along said South line, 439.21 feet;
thence North 01° 44' 42" East at right angles to said South line
50.00 feet to a point on a line parallel with and distant northerly
50.00 feet, measured at right angles, from said South line, said
point also being the true point of beginning of this description,
said point also being a point on the city boundary of the City of
Santa Ana as annexed by the Irvine Subdivision Annex 1 (Revised),
by Ordinance NS-696; thence South 88~ 15' 18" East along said
city boundary 150.00 feet to an angle point in said city boundary;
thence North 66" 11' 53" East 45.11 feet along said city boundary
to an angle point in said city boundary; thence North 40~ 39' 12"
East along said city boundary 170.25 feet to the Northeast corner
of Parcel 1 as shown on a map filed in Book 4, at Page 42 of
Parcel Maps, Records of Orange County, california; thence departing
from said city boundary North 88" 15' 18" West along the North line
of said Parcel 1, a distance of 297.63 feet to the Northwest corner
of said Parcel 1; thence South 01" 44' 42" West along the West line
of said Parcel 1, a distance of 151.93 feet to a point on the
city boundary of the City of Santa Ana as annexed by said Ordinance
NS-696 and to the true point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Santa Aha and to
Ward No. 6 in said City, and said Annexation is by this Resolution
effected and declared. For the purpose of tax segregation ofthis
territory, the designation that applies is "Santa Ana City - 1957 and
1958 Annexes".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That in accordance with Government
Code Section 35318 the annexed territory will become a part of the
City of Santa Ana from the date of filing by the Secretary of State.

The Clerk of the Council of the City of Santa Ana shall, without
delay, transmit to the Secretary of State a certified copy of this
Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of April, 1968.
