FOR THE WIDENING OF FIRST STREET FOR WHICH THE
CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, ATLANTIC RICHFIELD COMPANY, a corporation, has executed
a quitclaim deed dated March 4, 1968, quitclaiming to the City of Santa
Ana an easement for street purposes on the south side of First Street
and the west side of Broadway; and
WHEREAS, said deed is without a cash consideration being paid
to the grantor by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deed; that Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is hereby directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of May, 1968.
