HomeMy WebLinkAbout68-106RESOLUTION 68-106 AFFIRMING THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO. 68-10 FILED BY SANTIAGO DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Planning Commission granted a Conditional Use Permit on Application No. 68-10, filed by SANTIAGO DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, to permit the construction of a single-family residential "Planned Development" at 200 - 600 West MacArthur Boulevard, Santa Ana, California, in the R-1 - PD District; and WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 210 was filed by WYNNEWOOD HOMEOWNERS' ASSOCIATION appealing the decision of the Planning Commission and presenting the matter to the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City C6uncil, after public hearing on notice, has determined that said Conditional Use meets the requirements of Section 9250.8 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code and that said Conditional Use Permit should be granted subject to certain conditions; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby affirm the decision of the Planning Commission and does hereby grant a Conditional Use Permit on Application No. 68-10, filed by SANTIAGO DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, to permit the construction of a single-family residential "Planned Development" at 200 - 600 West MacArthur Boulevard, Santa Aha, California, in an R-1 - PD District; said Conditional Use Permit is granted subject to the following conditions: That the development be according to the approved plot plans, floor plans, elevations, and street design, except for minor modifications to be approved by the Planning Department; That a precise plan for the centrally located green belt be submitted to and approved by the Planning Director and Fire Chief; said plan to indicate location of proposed trees, other large plants and/or permanent landscape elements and methods of access for emergency vehicles; That all provisions of the "Planned Development Suffix" sections of the Zoning Ordinance be complied with, except Section 9230.175(7) (b) pertaining to guest parking, and Section 9230.176(3) (c) (2) pertaining to lot frontage on common open space; 4. That all conditions set by Council for approval of Tentative Tract 6610 be complied with; and 5. That the validity of this Conditional Use Permit is dependent on the approval of Amendment Application 626.
