THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHERE~S, SPARKLETTS DRINKING WATER CORPORATION, a California
corporation (formerly FOREMOST WATER CORPORATION, a corporation), has
executed a deed dated July 31, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa
Ana vehicular access rights to Newhope Street on the west side of
Newhope Street, south of Seventeenth Street; and
WHEP~EAS, ALFRED C. BONNEY and RUTH BONNEY, husband and wife,
have executed a deed dated August 5, 1968, conveying to the City of
Santa Ana an easement for street purposes on the east side of Harbor
Boulevard, 300' north of First Street; and
WHEREAS, GARLAND E. LEEPER and UNA MAE LEEPER, have executed a
deed dated August 3, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana easements
for street and alley purposes, and all vehicular access rights to Fifth
Street at said location; and
WHEREkS, COVINGTON BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, a Partnership,
has executed a deed dated August 7, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa
Ana an easement for street and public utility purposes on the east one-
half of Fairview Street, north of Wakeham Avenue; and
WHEREAS, NELLIE RUTH SEGERSTROM, a widow, an undivided one-fourth
interest; HAROLD T. SEGERSTROM and VERONICA P. SEGERSTROM, husband and
wife, an undivided one-fourth interest; HENRY T. SEGERSTROM and YVOAINE
de C. SEGERSTROM, husband and wife, an undivided one-fourth interest;
and HAROLD T. SEGERSTROM, JR. and JEANETTE E. SEGERSTROM, husband and
wife, an undivided one-fourth interest, have executed a deed dated
August 1, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana easements for street
purposes on Fairview Street, Talbert to 750' south of Talbert Avenue;
and
WHEREAS, JAMES L. WHITAKER, a married man, and HARRY R. MARTIN,
a married man, have executed a deed dated July 30, 1968, conveying to
the City of Santa Ana a temporary construction easement south of
McFadden Avenue, east of the Southern Pacific Railroad; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without a cash consideration being
paid to said grantors;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts
said deeds; and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is
directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED A_ND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of August, 1968.
