CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, RIDKATSO, LTD., a limited partnership, has executed
a deed dated August 12, 1968, conveying to the City an easement for
street and public utility purposes on the West half of Fairview
Street, North of Sunflower Avenue; and
WHEREAS, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, a corporation,
has executed a quitclaim deed dated July 30, 1968, quitclaiming to
the City vehicular access rights on the East side of Grand Avenue,
South of McFadden Avenue; and
WHEREAS, UNION OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, a corporation,
executed a deed dated October 5, 1966, conveying to the City an
easement for street purposes on the West half of Trotter Avenue,
North of Edinger Avenue; and
has
WHEREAS, WILLIAM HARVEY ENLOE and VERGIE LOIS ENLOE have
executed a deed dated August 9th, 1968, conveying to the City a~
easement for street purposes on the North side of Washington Avenue,
East of English Street; and
WHEREAS, KWIK-CHEK P~EALTY COMPANY, INCL, a Nevada corporation,
has executed a deed dated July 18, 1968, conv~ying to the City
vehicular access rights to the south side of Seventeenth Street,
West of Century Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, EMBEE PLATING, a California corporation, has executed
a deed dated July 23, 1968, conveying to the City an easement for
drainage purposes South of St. Gertrude Place, East of the Southern
Pacific Railroad right of way; and
WHEREAS, COVINGTON BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, a partner-
ship, has executed a deed dated August 26, 1968, conveying to the
City an easement for drainage purposes on the East side of Fairview
Street, North of Sunflower Avenue; and
Wq4_EREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
being paid to said grantors;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds; and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
