OF SEVENTEENTH STREET FOR WHICH THE CITY IS PAYING
A CASH CONSIDERATION
W}iEREAS, DUNCAN W. LANGTON has executed a deed dated
August 23, 1968, conveying to the City easements for street
purposes on the North side of Seventeenth Street, West of
Spurgeon Street, for which the City is paying a cash consideration
of $39,557; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 55736-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
California; and
WHEREAS, H. J. GERKEN and CLAP, A M. GERKEN have executed
a deed dated August 5, 1968, conveying to the City a parcel of
real property on the North side of Seventeenth Street, West of
Bush Street, for which the City is paying a cash consideration
of $55,000; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 55793-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of
Santa Ana accepts said deeds; and Carl J. Thornton, the City's
designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of
Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of September, 1968.
