HomeMy WebLinkAbout68-159CONSTRUCTION WATER FOR RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION WHEREAS, there are certain expenses involved in maintaining water facilities and in producing and delivering water to the consumer; and WHEREAS, the Water Utility wishes to recover said expenses from the consumer; and WHEREAS, payment must be made to cover all water needed for flooding sewer ditches, for constructing curbs, sidewalks, concrete pavement, asphaltic pavement, sub-grade compaction, plastering, brick- laying, irrigating lawns and plantings on the lots within the subdivision for a period of four months from the time service is installed, or until the utility release for the house or building is issued, whichever occurs first; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the following water rates shall be charged and collected as provided for in Section 7414 of Ordinance No. NS-936. Construction water rate at $6.00 per lot and at $1.00 per 100 feet of sewer ditch. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this Resolution shall be effectual as of the effective date of Ordinance No. NS-936. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of October, 1968.
