FOR ORANGE FREEWAY
WHEREAS, there is in contemplation a
the Santa Ana Freeway and State Highway No.

WHEREAS, the general area encompassed by the proposed
freeway route constitutes the area of the City of Santa Ana which
is undergoing the most rapid and extensive development; and
WHEREAS, enlightened planning of the involved area,
including lay-outs of local streets, will require detailed
knowledge of the ultimate plan of what has been designated by name
as the "Orange Freeway";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana hereby requests that the State Division of
Highways commence at the earliest practicable time its route
planning studies for the "Orange Freeway" between the Santa Ana
Freeway and State Highway~No. 1; and that the said study be
completed with such dispatch as may be feasible.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the
