OF CENTRAL AVENUE BETWEEN MAIN STREET AND CYPRESS
AVENUE
WHEREAS, on recommendation of the Department of Public Works
and the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, Resolution
69-1 was adopted giving notice of intention to vacate that certain
portion of Central Avenue lying between Main Street and Cypress
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, on February 3, 1969, a public hearing was duly held
on said street vacation on posted notice~ and the publication of
said Resolution 69-1; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana hereby finds that that certain portion of Central
Avenue lying between Main Street and Cypress Avenue in the City of
Santa Ana, ~iCounty of Orange, State of California, described as:
That portion of the North 10.00 feet of Central Avenue (80.00
feet wide), as shown on a map of "South Santa Ana", recorded
in Book 5, Page 43, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, bounded on the East by the Southerly prolongation of
the East line of Lot 9, Block E, of said map of "South Santa Ana"
and bounded on the West by the Southerly prolongation of the West
line of Lot 11, Block E, of said map of "South Santa Ana"
is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes and does
hereby make its order abandoning and vacating the same for street
purposes.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of February, 1969.
