THE CITY IS PAYING k CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, LOUIS YUNG and HELENE YUNG, husband and wife, have
executod a deed dated January 22, 1969, conveying to the City of
Santa Ana a parcel of real property located on the north side o~
Santa Clara Avenue and the east side of Grand Avenue, for which the
City is paying a cash consideration of $18,800.00; said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 56087-C with Security Title
Insurance Company, Santa Ana, california; and
WHEREAS, CHAMPION OIL AND MINING COMPANY, a Nevada corporation,
has executed a deed dated January 28, 1969, conveying to the City of
Santa Ana a parcel of real property south of First Street and east of
Harbor Boulevard, and easements for road purposes at said location,
for which the City is paying a cash consideration of $147,750.00; said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 56119-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of February, 1969.
