CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDER3kTION
WtiEREAS, DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA and DAVID R. LIEVANOS and ELEANOR LIEVANOS, husband
and wife, have executed a deed dated January 13, 1969, conveying
to the City of Santa Ana an easement for street purposes on the
North side of Eighth Street, East of Raitt Street, for which the
City is paying a cash consideration of $900.00; said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 870509 hrb with First American
Title Insurance, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, McFADDEN HOMES, a limited partnership, has executed
a deed dated January 27, 1969, conveying to the City of Santa Ana
a parcel of real property on the North side of McFadden Avenue, East
of Fairview Street, for library purposes, for which the City is
paying a cash consideration of $22,950; said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 877236 hrb with First American Title
Insurance, Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the city of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of February, 1969.
