WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO "FIRST STREET"
WHEREAS, there exists within the City of Santa Ana an east-
west thoroughfare which bears the names of First Street and Bolsa
Avenue; and, in order to give the street in question a consistent
name throughout the City, the City Council has recommended that
Bolsa Avenue be renamed to First Street within the City of Santa Ana;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED: That BOLSA AVENUE is hereby
renamed and shall be known as FIRST STREET to avoid confusion on the
part of the public and emergency services;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: ~hat the Director of Public Works
is instructed to place street name signs on Bolsa Avenue to show
the name heretofore used for said street and the new name herein
designated for said street, and said combination street name signs
shall be maintained for at least six (6) months from the adoption
of this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of March, 1969.
