INDENTURE BETWEEN THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY
AND THE CITY OF SANTA ANA FOR A LICENSE TO
CONSTRUCT A 12-INCH SEWER PIPELINE BENEATH
PROPERTY AND TRACKS OF THE RAILROAD COMPANY
W~EREAS, SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY, a corporation of the State
of Delaware, has delivered to the City an Indenture granting to the
City a license for the construction, reconstruction, maintenance and
operation of a 12-inch sewer pipeline under said railroad company's
property and tracks northerly and parallel to Santiago Creek, west-
erly from the Santa Ana Freeway;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
hereby accepts said Indenture; the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council
are hereby authorized to execute said Indenture and to acknowledge
the same for and on behalf of the city of Santa Ana; and Carl J.
Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his
Certificate of Acceptance on said Indenture.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of March, 1969.

of the Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Resolution
