THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, MARJORIE E. COLE, who acquired title as MARGERY COLE
and FRANCIS N. EDMUNDS, as co-trustees, have executed a deed dated
March 27, 1969, conveying to the city of Santa Ana real property on
the south side of Fruit Street, east of Sherry Lane, for park purposes,
for which the city is paying a cash consideration of $25,550.00; said
transaction to be handled through Escrow No. 56259-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, california; and
WHEREAS, THE CHURCH OF THE MESSIAH, a religious corporation,
has executed a quitclaim deed dated April 1, 1969, conveying to the
record owners as their interests may appear, real property on the
south side of Fruit Street, east of Sherry Lane, for park purposes;
and
WHEREAS, IRENE E. FRATELLO, a married woman, has executed a
deed dated April 15, 1969, conveying to the city of Santa Ana real
property on the south side of First Street, east of Harbor Boulevard,
for road purposes, for which the City is paying a cash consideration
of $6,000.00; said transaction to be handled through Escrow
No. 56293-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
california;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the city's designated
agent is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of April, 1969.
