HomeMy WebLinkAbout69-074RESOLUTION 69-74 AMENDING THE ARTERIAL STREETS AND HIGHWAYS ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN TO INCLUDE THE EXTENSION OF MEMORY LANE WHEREAS, on February 21, 1966, the City of Santa Ana adopted a General Plan for the future physical development of the City; and WHEREAS, the Santa Ana Planning Commission has now determined that the Arterial Streets and Highways Element of the General Plan should be amended to reflect an extension of Memory Lane eastward from Broadway; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby approves and adopts the recommendation of the Santa Aha Planning Commission to extend Memory Lane easterly, as an arterial street, from the west curb line of Broadway to a point approximately 1300 feet east of the center line of Main Street, on the alignment known and referred to as the "south" alternate; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the official General Plan map depicting arterial streets shall be amended by depicting the extension of Memory Lane as an arterial street as above described; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That in accordance with Section 9122 of Part 2, Chapter 1, Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, the said proposals are hereby adopted.
