W. AND BETTY B. MC FERRAN FOR WHICH THE CITY
IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION AND ACCEPTING
A QUITCLAIM DEED FROM LESSEE OF SAID PROPERTY
WITH NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, DAVID W. MC FERRAN and BETTY B. MC FERRAN, husband
and wife, have executed a deed dated June 13, 1969, conveying to
the city of Santa Ana a parcel of real property located on the
north side of First Street, 130 feet east of Pacific Avenue, the
south 40.00 feet thereof to be used as a public street and highway,
for which the City is paying a cash consideration of $20,200.00.
The transaction is to be handled through escrow numbered 56464-C
with the Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California;
and
WHEREAS, ROBERT BAEHR and MARY BAEHR, lessees of the afore-
described property, have executed a quitclaim deed dated June 13,
1969, quitclaiming to the City of Santa Ana all of their right,
title and interest in said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the escrow instructions; that the city of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds, and the Clerk of the Council is directed
to cause said deeds together with a copy of this resolution to be
recorded in the office of the County Recorder.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the city Council of the city of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of July, 1969.
