FROM IRENE CHANDLER TURNER FOR WHICH THE CITY IS
PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, IRENE CHANDLER TURNER, a widow, has executed an
offer of Dedication dated July 22, 1969, by which document she
offers to dedicate to the City of Santa Ana for street purposes
east of Euclid Street, between Davit Avenue and the Orange County
Flood Control District channel the following described property
in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California:
That portion of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 16, Township 5 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho Las Bolsas, City of Santa Ana, County of
Orange, State of california as shown on a map thereof
recorded in Book 51, Page 12 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 8 of Tract
5530, as shown on a m~p thereof recorded in Book 195,
Page 29 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of s~id Orange
County, said corner being a point on a nontangent curve
concave Westerly and having a radius of 40.00 feet, the
radial to said curve at said point coinciding with the
North line of said Tract 5530; thence Northerly along
the arc of said curve to its intersection with a line
that is parallel with and distant 15.00 feet Northerly,
measured at right angles, from said North line of Tract
5530; thence Easterly along said parallel line to the
Westerly line of the 70-foot strip of land conveyed to
the Orange County Flood Control District by deed recorded
January 23, 1961 in Book 5599, Page 587 of Official
Records; thence Southwesterly along said Westerly line
to its intersection with the East line of said Tract 5530;
thence Northerly along said East line a distance of 5.47
feet to the North line of said Tract 5530; thence Westerly
along said North line to the point of beginning;
and
WHEREAS, this offer of dedication is without cash considera-
tion being paid to said grantor and shall expire on July 20, 1979,
unless the dedication has been previously accepted by the city.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
hereby accepts said Offer of Dedication, and Carl J. Thornton, the
City's designated agent, is directed to place his eertificate of
Acceptance on said Offer of Dedication.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of August, 1969.
