PORTION OF WILSHIRE AVENUE, WEST OF VILLAGE
WAY, AND A PORTION OF VILLAGE WAY, SOUTH OF
McFADDEN AVENUE
W}{EREAS, on recommendation of the Department of Public Works
and the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, Resolution
70-22 was adopted giving notice of intention to vacate those certain
portions of village Way and Wilshire Avenue herein described; and
WHEREAS, on April 6, 1970, a public hearing was duly held on
said street vacations on posted notices and the publication of said
Resolution 70-22;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the city Council of
the City of Santa Ana hereby finds that that certain portion of
wilshire Avenue west of village Way, and that portion of Village
Way south of McFadden Avenue are unnecessary for present or
prospective street purposes and does hereby make its order abandoning
and vacating said portions of streets for street purposes; said
rights of way lie in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State
of California, and are described as follows:
Those portions of the land allotted to F. W. Koll in decree
of partition of the Rancho de Santa Ana in the City of Santa
Ana, County of Orange, State of California, included within
the land shown on a map filed in Book 17, Page 34, of Parcel
Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County,
described as follows:
Parcel A
Beginning at the center line intersection of McFadden Avenue
and village Way as shown on said Parcel Map, thence South 00°
24' 48" East along the center line of village Way a distance
of 1030.39 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, said True Point
of Beginning being in the Northerly boundary of Parcel 4, as
shown on said Parcel Map, thence along said boundary line
North 89° 35' 12" East, 30.00 feet to a point, said point being
South 89° 35' 12" West a distance of 498.54 feet from the North-
east corner of said Parcel 4; thence departing from said
Northerly boundary parallel with the center line of village Way,
South 00° 24' 48" East a distance of 238.58 feet to the beginning
of a curve tangent, concave Northeasterly and having a radius
of 88.00 feet; thence Southeasterly along said curve through a
central angle of 31° 13' 56" 47.97 feet to a point of reverse
curve, said curve being concave Northerly and having a radius
of 50.00 feet; thence along said curve through a central angle
of 242° 27' 52", 211.59 feet, to a point of reverse curve, said
curve being concave Northwesterly and having a radius of 88.00
feet; thence Northerly along said curve through a central angle
of 31° 13' 56", 47.97 feet to a point of tangency; thence North
00e 24' 48" West, parallel with the center line of Village Way,
a distance of 208.31 feet to a point, said point being the
southeasterly corner of Parcel 3 as shown on said Parcel Map;
thence continuing north 00° 24' 48" West a distance of 30.27
feet to the Northerly boundary of said Parcel 4; thence along
said boundary line, North 89° 35' 12" East a distance of
30.00 feet, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.

Parcel B:
Beginning at the center line intersection of McFadden Avenue
and Village Way as shown on said Parcel Map; thence departing
from said point of beginning Westerly along said center line of
McFadden Avenue South 88° 55' 45" West a distance of 492.89
feet to a point; thence South 00° 04' 33" East a distance of
40.00 feet to a point; thence North 88° 55' 45" East a distance
of 10.00 feet to a point, said point being the Northwesterly
corner of Parcel 1 as shown on said Parcel Map; thence Southerly
along the Westerly boundary of said Parcel 1, South 00° 04' 33"
East a distance of 478.75 feet to a point, said point being the
Southwesterly corner of Parcel 1 and the Northwesterly corner
of Parcel 2, as shown on said Parcel Map; thence continuing
South 00° 04' 33" East a distance of 286.24 feet to the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING, said TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING being the Northwesterly
corner of Parcel 3 as shown on said Parcel Map, and the North-
westerly terminus of wilshire Avenue, thence along said Northerly
right of way of Wilshire Avenue, North 89~ 35' 12" East a distance
of 440.59 feet to the beginning of a curve tangent, concave
Northwesterly and having a radius of 17.00 feet; thence North-
easterly along said curve through a central angle of 90° 00' 00",
26.70 feet to a point of tangency in the Westerly right of way
line of village Way, thence Southerly, along said right of way
line, South 00~ 24' 48" East a distance of 94.00 feet to the
beginning of a curve tangent, concave Southwesterly and having
a radius of 17.00 feet; thence Northwesterly along said curve
through a central angle of 90~ 00' 00", 26.70 feet to a point
of tangency in the Southerly right of way line of said Wilshire
Avenue; thence along said right of way line South 89° 35' 12"
West a distance of 440.94 feet to a point, said point being in
the Westerly boundary line of Parcel 3 as shown on said Parcel
Map; thence Northerly along said boundary North 00" 04' 33" West
a distance of 60.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the city Council of the city of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of April, 1970.
