HomeMy WebLinkAbout70-052RESOLUTION 70-52 DISSOLVING THE CITIZEN- GOVERNMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR TRAFFIC SAFETY AND THANKING PARTICIPANTS WHEREAS, by Resolution numbered 68-5, proclaimed January 15, 1968, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana created the citizen-Government Advisory Committee for Traffic Safety; and WHEREAS, since said date the said committee has well and truly performed its described functions; and WI{EREAS, the greater part of the work performed by said committee has now been assigned to ahd undertaken by other authorities, rendemingthe continuation of said committee no longer required; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. That the citizen-Government Advisory Committee for Traffic Safety is hereby dissolved and terminated. 2. That the city Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby expresses its deep appreciation to all those who participated in the work of the committee for their selfless efforts on behalf of all the citizens of Santa Ana.
