FROM THOSE CONDITIONS IMPOSED BY THE ZONING
AD~LINISTRATOR IN GRANTING A VARIANCE ON
VARIANCE APPLICATION 70-39 FILED BY PERSONAL
SERVICE CAR RENTAL, INC.
WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Zoning Adminis-
trator granted a variance on Variance Application 70-39, filed by
PERSONAL SERVICE CAR RENTAL, INC. to permit the sale and lease of
automobiles from an existing service station site in the R-2
District at 1215 North Grand Avenue, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 243 was duly filed by the
applicant appealing condition number 5 imposed by the Zoning
Administrator and presenting the matter to the City Council; and
W~EREAS, the City Council, after public hearing on notice,
has determined that said Variance Application meets the require-
ments of Section 41-638 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code and that
Condition No. 5 should be deleted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana does hereby overule the decision of the
Zoning Administrator and does hereby delete Condition No. 5 from
the conditions of approval of Variance 70-39 and does permit the
sale and lease of automobiles from an existing service station site
in the R-2 District at 1215 North Grand Avenue, Santa Ana,
CalifDrnia; said Variance is granted subject to the following
applicable conditions:
1. That development be according to the approved plot plan except
for minor modifications approved by the Planning Department;
2. That there shall ]~e a maximum number of 15 automobiles for rent
or lease on the site;
3. That the renting or leasing of trailers or trucks shall not be
permitted;
4. That no roof sign or additional pole sign be permitted on the
subject property.

Ana at its regular meeting held on the
