PLANNING COMMISSION AND GRANTING CONDITIONAL
USE PERMIT 70-13 FILED BY KEY METALS, INC.
SUBJECT TO CERTAIN APPLICABLE CONDITIONS
WHEREAS, after public hearing on Notice, the Planning
Commission granted a conditional use permit on Application
70-13 filed by KEY METALS, INC., to permit a scrap preparation
yard and storage in the M-2 District at 609 North Poinsettia Street,
Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, Appeal Application 256 was duly filed by the
applicant appealing the decision of the Planning Commission as
to certain conditions set forth in its Finding of Fact;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana does hereby affirm the action of the Planning
Commission and approves the Conditional Use Permit 70-13 subject
to the following conditions:
That development be according to the approved plot plan
except for minor modifications approved by the Planning
Department.
That a solid fence at least 8' high be constructed around
the entire property except that portion which runs approxi-
mately 200 feet along the Southern Pacific Mainline track.
3. That all requirements of Section 41-687 of the Code be
complied with.
The following condition is to be complied with prior to the
issuance of a building permit:
Pay for future ornamental street lights.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st
day of February, 1971.
