PLANNING COMMISSION AND GP~NTING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT 71-2 FILED BY W. D. RUSH, SUBJECT TO
APPLICABLE CONDITIONS
WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Planning
Commission denied a Conditional Use Permit on Application 71-2,
filed by W. D. RUSH to permit dismantling of vehicles and
retail sales of vehicle parts in the M-2 District at 665 South
Santa Fe Street, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, Appeal Application 261 was duly filed by the
applicant appealing the decision of the Planning Commission
and presenting the matter to the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana does hereby overrule the decision of
the Planning Commission and does grant Conditional Use Permit
71-2, FILED BY W. D. RUSH, to permit dismantling of vehicles
and retail sales of vehicle parts in the M-2 District at 665
South Santa Fe Street, Santa Ana, California; said Conditional
Use Permit is granted subject to the following conditions:
That development be according to the approved plot plan
except for minor modifications approved by the Planning
Department;
That there be no stacking of vehicles anywhere on the
subject pmoperty, or the Conditional Use Permit shall
become null and void;
3. That no abandoned or wrecked vehicles or automobile parts
shall be permitted outside the walled storage area.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana~ its regular meeting held on the 15th day of March, 1971.
