RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 225
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, sealed proposals or bids for performing the work
and improvements described in Resolution of Intention No. 71-83 of the
City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California adopted
September 7, 1971, which said resolution is hereby expressly re-
ferred to for a description of said work and improvements and for
all other particulars relative to the proceedings under said
resolution of intention, have been publicly opened and examined,
and said City Council has declared the result of said bids at its
meeting of November 1, 1971;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana, State of California, in regular session assembled,
that said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids,
except that herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for
doing said work and making said improvements to the lowest re-
sponsible bidder, to wit:
GRIFFITH COMPANY
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Council of
said City of Santa Ana is hereby directed to publish notice of
said award twice in THE REGISTER, a newspaper published and
circulated in said City of Santa Ana, State of California.
ADOPTED the 1st day of November, 1971.

I, FLORENCE I. MALONE, do hereby certify that I am the
Clerk of the Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing
resolution was regularly introduced to said Council at its regular
meeting held on the 1st day of November, 1971, and was at said
meeting regularly passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
