RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE SANTA ANA UNIFIED SCHOOL
DISTRICT FOR THE PURCHASE OR EXCHANGE OF
CITY OWNED PROPERTIES
W/qEREAS, the responsible staff members respectively
of the Santa Ana Unified School District and the City of
Santa Ana have reached agreement providing for the acqui-
sition by the School of certain properties owned by the
City at the Warner Avenue corporation yard and at E1 Salvador Park; and
WHEREAS, such agreement contemplates that the School
will pay the City either cash in the sum of $71,640.00, or
real property acceptable to the City of equivalent value
within one year of the execution of the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City property being sold to the School
is not needed for City purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana hereby authorizes the preparation
and execution by the Mayor of a written agreement reflecting
the terms of this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the l~th day of
November , 1971.
