Tract No. 2458, submitted by Rand Construction Company, bond in the
amount of $74,000.00 and agreement for the improvements were approved

The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on
motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the follow-

"An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana, California,
ordering, calling, providing for and giving notice
of a Special Municipal Election to be held in the
City of Santa Aha on the 12th day of April, 1955,
for the purpose of submitting to the qualified
voters of said City a proposition to incur bonded
indebSedness by s aid City for a o6rtain municipal
improvement and consolidating said Election with
the General Municipal Election to be held on said
date"

was presented on the proposed annexation of approximately 40.423 acres
bounded easterly by Newport Avenue, westerly by a line 4421 west of
Harbor Road, bounded northerly by the south boundary of the City of
Santa Ana, south of Dyer Road by a line 13,021' southerly of said City

The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on
motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the following
Resolution entitled:
"Resolution No. 55-72 giving notice of proposed
annexation to City of Santa Ana of that certain
uninhabited territory described herein and desig-
nated IWiegand and Matthews AnnexI, and giving
notice of time and place for hearing of protests
thereto"
was considered and passed by the following vote:

the Council authorize negotiations for the property in Vehicle Parking
District No. I on the basis that money will be available from Parking
Meter Fund 27.
