Larsen On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, Nap of Tract No. 2458, submitted by Rand Construction Company, bond in the amount of $74,000.00 and agreement for the improvements were approved for the dedication of Park Drive, Towner Street, Lowell Street, Central In Re Ordinance No. NS-90 Calling Special Municipal Election April 12, 1955 (Public Library) Avenue and portions of Delhi Road, subject to payment for the install- ation of water mains and recording of sewer and drainage easement. # The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the follow- lng Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana, California, ordering, calling, providing for and giving notice of a Special Municipal Election to be held in the City of Santa Aha on the 12th day of April, 1955, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of said City a proposition to incur bonded indebSedness by s aid City for a o6rtain municipal improvement and consolidating said Election with the General Municipal Election to be held on said date" was considered, designated Ordinance No. NS-90 and passed by the follow- In Re Proposed annexation "Wiegand and Matthews Annex" lng vote: Ayes, Councilmen Noes ,i Councilmen Absent, Councilmen William Jerome, J.L.McBrlde, Milford W. Larsen Petition signed by F.C.Ma~thews, Edith May Matthews and John Wiegand, was presented on the proposed annexation of approximately 40.423 acres bounded easterly by Newport Avenue, westerly by a line 4421 west of Harbor Road, bounded northerly by the south boundary of the City of Santa Ana, south of Dyer Road by a line 13,021' southerly of said City boundary. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and In Re Resol. No. 55-72 Proposed annexation "Wiegand and Matthews Annex" carried, the petition was received and filed. The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution No. 55-72 giving notice of proposed annexation to City of Santa Ana of that certain uninhabited territory described herein and desig- nated IWiegand and Matthews AnnexI, and giving notice of time and place for hearing of protests thereto" was considered and passed by the following vote: In Re Resol. No. 55-73 Condemnation for right-of-way Sewerage facilities Roe Drive north to West Orange St. Ayes, Councilmen William Jerome, J.L.McBride, Milford W. Dahl, Courtney R. Chandler Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen Thomas F. Larsen . The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by McBride and carried, the fol- lowing Resolution entitled: "Resolution No. 55-73 authorizing the condemnation of certain real property for the purpose of install- ing thereon underground pipe lines for sanitary sewers and declaring the public necessity for said USS# was considered and passed by the following vote: In Re Junk storage at Clyde Mussackte Auto Wrecking Yard Ayes, Councilmen William Jerome, J.L.NcBride, Milford W. Dahl, Courtney R. Chandler Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen~ Thomas F. Lateen On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by McBride and carried, the Manager was instructed to rectify the situation forthwith existing at Clyde Nussack~s Auto Wrecking Yard, north of Dyer Road and facing Orange Avenue, with reference to Junk being stored on the street and In Re Authorize negotiations for property in Vehicle Parking District No. I alley. - · # It wac moved by Councilman Jerome, eeconded by Dahl and carried, that the Council authorize negotiations for the property in Vehicle Parking District No. I on the basis that money will be available from Parking Meter Fund 27.
