BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha does hereby grant Appeal 9291 filed by Grace Alberts and
does hereby approve Variance Application No. 71-63 filed by
Ellis W. Stanley to allow generator rebuilding in the C 2
District located at 1112 E. 17th Street, Santa Ana, subject
to the following conditions:
1. That the generator rebuilding be limited to generators
for passenger and truck vehicles only.
2. That all conditions of the Building and Fire Departments
be met.
3. That any trash areas must be enclosed in accordance
with the Planning Department standards.
The following requirements must also be met:
NOTE: No building permit has been issued by the City for the
existing cooler.
1. Obtain a building permit for the existing cooler on
the property.
Ail items stored or offered for sale and all activities
shall be Conducted within the building. There shall be
no storage of inoperable vehicles on the property as
defined under Section 41-80 "Definition of Inoperable
Vehicle" nor shall there be any junk yard, automobile
wrecking yard, salvage yard, or impound yard activities
on the property as defined by Section 41-88 (Definition
of Same) in the Zoning Ordinance.
NOTE:
Ordinance requires approximately 21,920 sq. ft. of
parking area (1/3 of total net area of lot) which
would be approximately 69 offstreet parking stalls.
Applicant shall submit a revised plot plan indicating
21,920 sq. ft. minimum parking area located in a manner
meeting the approval of the Planning Department. Park-
ing area shall be in accordance with Ordinance require-
ments.
4. A plan of access driveways and existing fire hydrants
shall be submitted to the Fire Department for approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17 day of Januar~
1972.
