CREATING A 24-MINUTE PARKING ZONE ON THE SOUTH
SIDE OF FOURTH STREET~ EAST OF PARTON STREET
WHEREAS, the alteration of the access road from the
City Hall Annex parking lot causes persons wishing to travel
eastbound on Santa Ana Boulevard to first travel west, and
then make a U-turn at Parton Street from the left hand turn
pocket; and
WHEREAS, any car parking in the first stall on the
south side of Fourth Street, east of Parton Street, will
interfere with this U-turn movement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the first stall
on the south side of Fourth Street, east of Parton Street, an
existing 24-minute parking zone, should be painted "Red" tempo-
rarily until the need for U-turn here has disappeared or been
reduced.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That a 24-minute parking zone
be created from the existing 2-hour parking zone on the south
side of Fourth Street, from 35 feet to 55 feet east of the
southeast BC at Parton Street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its adjourned regular meeting held on the 13th
day of March, 1972.
