CONSENTING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PORTION
OF FAIRVIEW STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA AS A COUNTY HIGHWAY DURING THE PERIOD OF
IMPRO~rE~NT
WHEREAS, that portion of Fairview Street from 170
feet to 570 feet north of Huckleberry Road lying within
the City Limits of Santa Ana is deemed to be a highway
of County-wide importance,
WHEREAS, the County of Orange proposes to improve
said portion of Fairview Street.
WHEREAS, by Board of Supervisor Resolution No. 71-
985 dated September 7, 1971, the County has declared
said portion of Fairview Street to be a County highway
during the period of improvement of said road by County,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana concurs with said
improvement of Fairview Street by County and desires to
consent to the establishment of said portions of Fairview
Street as a County highway during the period of said
improvement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to the
provisions of Section 1701, Article 3, Chapter 9, Division
2 of the Streets and Highways Code, the City of Santa Ana
does concur with the Orange County Board of Supervisors
Resolution No. 71-985 dated September 7, 1971 establishing
those portions of Fairview Street from 170 feet to 570
feet north of Huckleberry Road, lying within the City
Limits of Santa Ana, to be a County highway during the
period of improvement by the County of Orange.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to transmit to the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Orange a certified copy of
this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Santa Ana at its adjourned regular meeting held on the
13th day of March, 1972.
