RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SANTA ANA
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNATED
AGENT TO EXECUTE THE CITY'S ACCEPTANCE OF WP~ITTEN
BIDS AFTER AWARD BY THE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Santa Ana Charter requires that certain
formalities be followed, and that generally speaking
contracts involving an expenditure of more than $2,000
(Two thousand dollars) require written bids, and Council-
matic acceptance; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has developed a system to
expedite the purchase of required materials, and yet at
the same time follow the formal requirements of the Santa
Ana Charter and Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Manager
or his designated agent is authorized to sign all such
written bids after they have been accepted by the City
Council in the manner required by the City's Charter.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha at its adjourned regular meeting held on the l~th
day of March , 1972.
