UPHOLDING THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING
COMMISSION AND APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT 72-3 FILED BY STANDARD OIL COMPANY
OF CALIFORNIA
BE IT RESOLVED: That, based upon the Findings of
Fact of the Planning Commission, the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana does hereby approve Conditional Use
Permit 72-3 filed by Standard Oil Company of California
to allow the manufacture, distribution and sale of
agriculture chemicals in the M 2 District at 1016 Santiago
Avenue, subject to the following conditions:
1. That development be according to the approved plot
plan, except for minor modifications approved by
the Planning Department.
2. That all conditions of the Building and Fire Depart-
ments be met.
Submit to the Department of Public Works, for their
approval, an acceptable final grading plan or an
on-site drainage plan or both, showing the direction
and means of flow to the adjacent street (s) or
channel (s) when this property is developed. Plan
is to include existing and proposed elevations at
the property lines. Applicants should check with
the Department of Public Works for extent of study
needs.
4. Pay drainage assessment fee.
5. Pay water service connection charges.
6. Pay street lighting deposit for future street lights.
7. Pay street tree charges.
8. Construct necessary sewer facilities as required by
the Department of Public Works.
9. Submit a sanitary sewer study to the Department of
Public Works.
The following requirements must also be met:
1. Indicate 9 parking spaces on plot plan.
Construct an 8' high completely opaque fence along
Santiago Avenue including gates. Materials for
fence construction shall meet the approval of the
Planning Department and Building Department.
Meet all Fire Code requirements as set forth in
letter to the applicant from the Fire Department
dated February 23, 1972 signed by Samuel M. McCalla,
Inspector, Fire Inspection Bureau.
4. The following requirements must also be met prior to
the issuance of a building permit:
Deposit with the City a cash deposit in the amount
of $6,000.00 or such other sum that is set to meet
the requirements of the Public Works Department
to guarantee the future improvements in Santiago
Street consisting of street paving, curb and
gutter, sidewalk and cost of improvement plans.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the ist day
of M~y , 1972.
