A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
SANTA AHA RESCINDING RESOLUTION 71-64
AND NAMING THE FIRST COMMISSIONERS OF
THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA AHA, AND ALSO NAMING THE FIRST
CHAIRMAN
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Santa Aha:
SECTION 1. Resolution 71-64 of the City Council is hereby rescinded in
its entirety.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 34290 of the Housing Authorities Law
the City Council hereby declares itself to be the Commissioners of the
Housing Authority created by Section 34240 of the Housing Authorities Law,
and that all rights, powers, duties, privileges and immunities vested by the
Housing Authorities Law in such Authority shall be and are vested in said
Commissioners except as otherwise provided in Sections 34290 through 34293
of the Housing Authorities Law.
Jerry M. Patterson is hereby designated to serve as the first
Chairman of the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana. The Mayor of
the City be and he hereby is authorized and directed to issue a Certificate
evidencing the appointment of the above-named Commissioners and Chairman and
to file said Certificate in the Office of the Clerk of the Council of the City of
Santa Aha, California.
SECTION 3. This resolution is adopted pursuant to the provisions of
Section 34-242 of the Health and Safety Code and shall become effective
immediate ly.

I, FLORENCE I. MALONE, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that I am the Clerk
of the Council of the City of Santa Aha; that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced to said Council at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of
May , 1972, and was at said meeting passed and adopted by the
