HomeMy WebLinkAbout72-053RESOLUTION NO. 72-53 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION OF REAL PROPERTY FOR IMPROVEMENTS OF FIRST STREET WEST OF LYON STREET TO THE SANTA ANA FREEWAY BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby find and declare that the public in- terest and necessity require that in order to make improve- ments on First Street, West of Lyon Street to the Santa Ana Freeway, the hereinbelow described real property be condemned. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That work is to begin imme- diately, and it is necessary for the City of Santa Ana to have possession of the following property as soon as pos- sible: A.P. No. 011-150-41 Those portions of the Northerly 78 feet of the Westerly 120 feet of the Easterly 130 feet of Lot A of Menges and Crooks Subdivision of G.B. Lyon's Subdivision, in the City of Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded in Book 1, Page 98 of Miscellaneous Record Maps, records of said Orange County, described as follows: PARCEL 1: The Northerly 39.00 feet. Excepting that por- tion previously dedicated for street. PARCEL 2: That portion lying Westerly of a line parallel with and 30 feet Westerly, measured at right angles, from the monumented center line of Lyon Street. Excepting that portion previously dedicated for street. PARCEL 3: A spandrel shaped of land bounded on the North by the Southerly line of the above mentioned Parcel 1; bounded on the East by the Westerly line of the above mentioned Parcel 2; and bounded Southwesterly by the arc of a curve concave Southwesterly, having a radius of 12.00 feet and tangent to said North and East boundaries.
