Home My WebLink About72-071RESOLUTION 72-71 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE ARTERIAL STREETS PORTION OF THE "LAND USE AND ARTERIAL STREETS" ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN BY REALIGNING AND AND EXTENDING BEAR AND RAITT STREETS WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has adopted a General Plan, and has amended it from time to time, which plan among other things provides for its future physical development; and WHEREAS: The Santa Ana Planning Commission, after conduct- lng the published public hearings required by the Santa Aha Muni- cipal Code, held its regular meeting the 8th day of May 1972, and by its Resolution 95991 has recommended to the City Council that the Proposed General Plan Amendment No. 1972-1, Bear-Raitt Street Alignments Map "B" prepared by the Santa Ana Department of PUblic Works be adopted, and that Precise Plan Street Alignment 99 be recinded; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of hearing by publication as required by the Santa Ana Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the time and place so published. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby adopts the recommendation of the Santa Ana Planning Commission as contained in its Resolution #5991, and does adopt the Proposed General Plan Amendment No. 1972-1, depicting the newly created street alignments as set forth above. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That in accordance with §27-17 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code the said proposals are hereby adopted.
