RESOLUTION OF THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA RATIFYING ITS DECI-
SION TO REIMBURSE CERTAIN DEVELOPERS
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS ON THE
SELECT STREET SYSTEM
~fPIEREAS, the City Council is amending the section of the Santa
Aha Municipal Code which authorized the reimbursement of developers
for the construction costs they expended on improvements made on the
Select Street System; and
WHEREAS, the finances of the City no longer permit the expense
of reimbursements; and
WHEREAS, this policy is consistent with the policy of other
cities in Orange County[; and
WHEREAS, it would be unfair, however, to totally reverse this
policy as to those developments now in process.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT those projects which are under
construction on the Select Street System and for which street work
permits had been issued as of June 26, 1972, will be eligible for
reimbursement in the amount of 50% of the cost which would have been
paid under the previous Select Street Reimbursement Program. To be
eligible for any reimbursement, each project must be completed on
or before October 3, 1972.
The following list constitutes those projects which are eligible
for the 50% reimbursement. The actual amount to be paid will be
based on the final quantities and costs as determined by the Director
of Public Works.
