RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 225
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of
Santa Ana, State of California, did on the 30th day of August,
1972 file with the Clerk of the Council of the City of Santa Aha,
California an assessment to represent the cost and expenses of the
work and improvement done and made by GRIFFITH COMPANY, contractor,
pursuant to proceedings had and taken by the City Council of said
City of Santa Ana under and pursuant to Resolution of Intention
No. 71-83 passed and adopted on September 7, 1971; and
WHEREAS, said Clerk, as appears from the affidavit on file
herein, has duly given notice by publication, posting and mailing
in the time, form and manner as provided by law, of the filing of
said assessment and of the time set for hearing thereon, which
time was fixed in said notices as September 18, 1972 at 7:30 o'clock
P.M. in the chambers of said City Council in the City Hall Annex,
located in the City of Santa Ana, california; and
WHEREAS, said City Council has received evidence concern-
ing said assessment and the proper completion of the work and im-
provement for which the same was issued; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has advised that,
because of a clerical error:
1. Assessment No. 86 was erroneously given credit for
existing improvements and that to correct said error, said
assessment should be increased from $451.19 to $507.91;
2. Assessment No. 188 was not given credit for existing
improvements and that said assessment should be reduced from
$484.81 to $446.27.
WHEREAS, all objections filed in writing by interested
parties to said work and improvement, or to the correctness of the
assessment, the assessment diagram filed therewith, or to any other
act, determination or proceeding of the Superintendent of Streets
have been disposed of without further modification of said assessment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Santa Aha, State of California, in regular session
assembled, that the assessment and assessment roll, now on file
in the office of the Clerk of the city Council, be modified by pen
interlineation as follows:
1. Increase Assessment No. 86 from $451.19 to $507.91;
2. Decrease Assessment No. 188 from $484.81 to $446.27;
$79,164.22;
Decrease the City contribution from $79,182.40 to
4. Increase the total assessment and the amount to
be assessed from $167,124.24 to $167,142.42.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as hereinbefore
modified, the said assessment and assessment diagram, and warrant
attached to said assessment, the proceedings leading up to the
same, and all acts and determinations of all officers of said
City of Santa Ana in relation thereto be, and the same hereby are

ratified and confirmed; the Mayor of said city, and the Superintendent
of Streets of said city are hereby authorized and directed to sign
and countersign, respectively, the warrant attached to said
assessment, and the Superintendent of Streets is hereby ordered to
deliver said warrant, assessment, and diagram to GRIFFITH COMPANY
upon the payment of all incidental expenses due thereon.
ADOPTED the 18th day of September, 1972.
