COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER
TO PROCEED WITH AN APPLICATION FOR
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CRIME-SPECIFIC
BURGLARY PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the California Council on Criminal Justice may consent
to review for possible funding the project submitted by the City of Santa Aha
referred to as Burglary Prevention-Repression and Apprehension through
Selective Enforcement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager of the
City of Santa Aha, is directed to execute and submit to the California Council
on Criminal Justice on behalf of the City of Santa Aha, the application for
grant for law enforcement purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in the event the California Council
on Criminal Justice consents to fund the above project, the City of Santa Aha
agrees to accept the grant and designates the City Manager to execute on
behalf of the City of Santa Aha the contract for the grant for law enforcement
purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide the
required matching funds to said project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder
shall not be used to supplant ongoing law enforcement expenditures.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the Znd day of January, 1973.
