INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
TO CHANGE THE BOUNDARY LINES
OF WARDS AS REQUIRED BY THE
CHARTER OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
PUBLIC HEARING THEREON
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Santa Ana declares that
the City Council shall change Ward boundary lines each two years
prior to the General Municipal Election;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council
hereby declares its intention to make changes in the boundary lines of
the Wards in the City of Santa Ana.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That 7:30 P.M. on the 18th day
of December, 1972, in the Council Chambers, City Hall Annex, 530
North Ross Street, Santa Aha, California, is the time and place when
and where any person having any interest in, objection to, or suggestion
regarding the making of changes in Ward boundary lines may appear
before the City Council and be heard thereon.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council is
directed to give notice of said hearing by publishing this Resolution
once a week for two weeks in the REGISTER prior to December 18, 1972.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its adjourned regular meeting held on the 7th day of
December, 1972.
