A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ADOPTING
SUPPLEMENT NUMBER 3 TO THE PROGRAM
OF LOCAL AGENCY TOPICS IMPROVEMENT
PROJECTS IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, the Congress of the United States has in the Federal-Aid
Highway Act of 1968 declared it to be in the national interest for Federal
funds to be expended for a TOPICS Program which consists of making traffic
operations improvements on a systematic basis in accordance with an area-
wide plan over a network of arterial and other major streets within urban
areas; and
WHEREAS, A Master Agreement for the TOPICS Program was entered
into between the City of Santa Ana and the State on February 1, 1971; and
WHEREAS, Paragraph 5 of Article III of said Agreement provides
that a program designating the amount of Federal funds requested shall be
adopted by resolution of the governing body of the local agency and approved
by the State,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
approves Program Supplement No. 3 to Agreement No. lO covering TOPICS
Project T-3041 (194).
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of February 1973.
