A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA DETERMINING THAT THE CONTINUED
PARTICIPATION BY AGENCY OR COMMUNITY OFFICERS
OR CITY EMPLOYEES WHO HAVEMADE WRITTEN FINANCIAL
DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INTEREST IN THE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA, IN THE FORMULATION OF
OR APPROVAL OF PLANS OR POLICIES FOR THE REDEVEL-
OPMENT OF THE PROJECT AREA, WILL NOT BE CONTRARY
TO THE PUBLIC INTEREST
W~EREAS, Section 33130 of the California Health and Safety
Code of the Community Redevelopment Act requires that any Agency
or Community officer or employee, who in the course of his duties,
is required to participate in the formulation of or to approve
plans or policies for the redevelopment of a project area, shall
make written disclosure to the agency of any direct or indirect
financial interest he may have in any property included within
the project area; and
WHEREAS, all such officials and officers who have such
interest have made such written disclosures; and
WHEREAS, the interests of said officials and officers have
been reviewed by the Santa Ana City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Santa Ana City Council
in regular session assembled this 7th day of May, 1973, that the
City Council has reviewed the written disclosure of direct and in-
direct interests of the following Agency or Community officers or
employees: Robert Newcomb, Alex Acevedo, Don Christeson, Vern
Evans, Rudy Gallegos, Hector Godinez, Lorin Griset, Bomo Koral,
and John W. ("Bill") Hill, and hereby determines that, in light
of such personal interests, participation of such members in the
actions by the Santa Ana City Council, the Community Redevelopment
Agency, the Community Redevelopment Commission, the City Planning
Commission, and as employees of the City of Santa Ana, affecting
the carrying out of the project planning or the undertaking of
the Project will not be contrary to the public interest.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of said written disclosures
be attached to this resolution and be entered into the minutes of
this meeting of the Santa Ana City Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana, California, at its regular meeting held on the 7 th day of
May, 1973.
