Chandler None Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of November 21st, 1955, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on ~otion of Counc~m~n Helnty, seconded by Markel and carried. In Re Nearing ~nendment "Industrial Annex" Ordinance This being the date set for hearing and no pretests having been received, the Counci initiated amendment was considered for the reclassification of property known as th "Industrial ~n~x", located at the south City ltm~ts south of McFadden Street betwee Standard Avenue and Lyon Street, if extended south, from the R-1 to the M-1 District On motion of Councilman Dab1, seconded by 14arkel and carried, the following entitled: "Ordinance ~m~udt~ Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code creating eh~n~,,es in district bo,~aries and adding Sheets No. 56, 57 and 58 to the districting map to show the reclassification, InRe Variance Th~s Shoen was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. The applicant appeared before the Council stating that arrangements have been made for the parking of cars. On motion of ColAnc~!m~ Markel, seconded b Jerome and carried, the variance application was ordered re-submitted to the Pl--nln InBe Variance Audra U. and Ona M. Friend C~ ssion for re¢~ndation. Ccemmnication was read f£~ the Planning C~mnission recommending denial of variance application of Audra U. and Ona M. On motion of Councilman Je~, seconded by Markel and carried, proper officials we~ authorized to e~ecute contract dated December 5th, 1955, with Parks and Davis, for architectural services, working drawings, etc., on the Corporation Yard to be located on Delhi Road. On rec.~-~udation of tbe Manager and on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by HeAnly and carried, the request of Stan~-~d Oil Company for four B5 foot driveways at service station located at the southwest corner of Fairview Avenue and Bristol Street, was granted.
