$~KVICE CHARGES ABD t~SCIR~ING RESOLUTIONS 68-i~9,
68-160 and 68-161.
WHEREAS, there are certain expenses involved in maintaining water
facilities and in producing and delivering water to tb~ consuner; and
WHEI~EAS, the Water Utility wishes to recover said empenses frcm
the consign,r, based on the quantity of water used, with a minirmmn charge for
stand-by readiness;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the follc~ing water rates
and service charges are to be levied and collected for ~ch water service
turned on, or to which a stand-by service is provided, by the Water Utility,
as provided for in Section 39-21 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code.

7. Private Fire Service Rates Without Detector beck Valves, Bi-
Monthly Stand-by Charge
The charges shall be double the rates for private fire ser-
vices with detector check valves.

C. SERVICE (N3TSIDE CITY LIMITS
Ail rates and sez-vice charges for service to premises outside the
City limits shall be double the above rates and charges except to
premises served at the rates charged inside the City limits prior
to oa~ption of this resolution.
Water for construction work and other uses such that service is
required for only a limited time, not to exceed six months as
provided for in Section 39'26 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; That Resolution 68-159 Fixing Charges for
Construction Water for P~sidential Subdivision, Resolution 68-160
Fixing Water Rates and Stand-by Service Charges and Resolution 68-161
Fixing Charges for Construction Water from Fire Hydrants are hereby
rescinded o
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this Resolution shall be effectual
the 1st day of November , 1973.
PASSED AND ADOFrED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the 15 day of October ,1973.
