~ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA RATIFYING THE ESTABLISHMENT AND SETTING
THE RATE OF COMPENSATION FOR MEMBERS OF THE BOARDS
AND COMMISSIONS OF THE CITY--COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION, HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION, PERSONNEL
BOARD, AND RECREATION AND PARKS BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana that
the compensation to be paid to board and commission members shall be and
is established as follows:
1. COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION - Each member
of this commission shall receive the sum of twenty ($20.00) dollars for
each regular or adjourned meeting of said commission which said member
attends; provided, however, no such member shall be paid more than forty
($40.00) dollars for such attendance at meetings held during any one calendar
month.
2. HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION - Each member of this
commission shall receive the sum of fifteen ($15.00) dollars for each regular
or adjourned meeting of said commission which said member attends; pro-
vided, however, no such member shall be paid more than thirty ($30.00)
dollars for such attendance at meetings held during any one calendar month.
3. BOARD OF RECREATION AND PARKS - Each member of this
board shall receive the sum of twenty ($20.00) dollars for each regular or
adjourned meeting of said board which said member attends; provided, however,
no such member shall be paid more than twenty ($20.00) dollars for such
attendance at meetings held during any one calendar month.
4. PERSONNEL BOARD - Each member of this board shall receive
the sum of twenty ($20.00) dollars for each regular or adjourned meeting of
said board which said member attends; provided, however, no such member
shall be paid more than twenty ($20.00) dollars for such attendance at meet-
ings held during any one calendar month. In addition, each member shall
receive twenty ($20.00) dollars for each day (except meeting days) he attends
personnel hearings.
5. PLANNING COMMISSION - In addition to compensation for atten-
dance at meetings as provided under Section 2-352 of the Santa Ana Municipal
Code, each commissioner shall receive twenty-five ($25.00) dollars per month
as reimbursement for expenses provided he attends at least one meeting during
the calendar month.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 5 day of November , 1973.
