A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA GRANTING TO THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA &
SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY, A CORPORATION, ITS
SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT,
MAINTAIN AND OPERATE A LEAD TRACK ACROSS RITCHEY
STREET, NORTH OF EDINGER AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway
Company, a corporation, has applied for a permit to construct,
maintain and operate its standard gauge lead track across
Ritchey Street, north of Edinger Avenue, in the City of
Santa Aha, the centerline of which is described on the attached
description marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by
reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. A permit is hereby granted to the Atchison,
Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Company, a corporation, its successors
and assigns, to construct, maintain and operate a standard gauge
lead track across Ritchey Street, north of Edinger Avenue, as
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. This permit is specifically made subject
to, and conditioned upon, the approval of the City Engineer as
to the agreed upon detailed plans and specifications relating
to said crossing.
SECTION 3. The Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway
Company shall pay all costs for improving said grade crossing
including any crossing protection as may be ordered by the
State of California Public Utilities Commission, either now
or in the future.
SECTION 4. The Clerk of the Council shall certify
to the passage of the Resolution, and thereupon, the same
shall take effect and be in force.

DESCRIPTION OF THE CENTERLINE
FOR A TRACK CROSSING RITCHEY STREET
APPROXIMATELY 373 FEET NORTH OF EDINGER STREET
Commencing at the northwesterly corner of Parcel 1,
shown on that certain map filed June 1, 1970 in Book 29
at page 36 of Parcel Maps in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California; thence along the
northerly prolongation of the westerly line of said
Parcel 1 which westerly parcel line is also the easterly
line of Ritchey Street, 55.00 feet in width, North 1° 20' 57"
East 10.00 feet to the true point of beginning for this
description; thence from said true point of beginning along
a line which is parallel with and distant northerly 10.00
feet, measured at right angles from the northerly line of
said Parcel 1 North 89° 19' 38" West 55.00 feet to the
westerly line of said Ritchey Street.
