A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA CONSENTING TO THE ENFORCEMENT BY
THE HEALTH OFFICERS OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE
OF CERTAIN ORDINANCES, LAWS, RULES AND REGULA-
TIONS.
WHEREAS, the Orange County Health Department has here-
tofore been designated by this City Council as the Health De-
partment for the City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana does not maintain any
municipal health department; and
WHEREAS, the governing body desires the County Health
Officers of the Orange County Health Department to enforce the
provisions of the Santa Ana Municipal Code relating to health
and sanitation, and consents to enforcement and observance by
said Health Officers pursuant to Section 476 of the California
Health and Safety Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That, pursuant to Sec-
tion 476 of the California Health and Safety Code the City
Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby consents to enforce-
ment and observance by the Orange County Health Department and
the Health Officers of the County of Orange in the City of Santa
Ana of orders, quarantine regulations, and rules prescribed by
the State Department of Health; provisions of the Santa Ana Mu-
nicipal Code relating to Health and sanitation; other rules and
regulations issued under the provisions of the Health and Safety
Code; and statutes and ordinances relating to the public health.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its adjourned regular meeting held on the 25 day of
February , 1974.
