A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAiqTA ANA AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION
OF REAL PROPERTY IN ORDER TO EXTEND CIVIC
CENTER DRIVE
BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana does hereby find and declare that the public interest
and necessity require that in order to extend Civic Center
Drive, the hereinbelow described real property be condemned.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That work is to begin immediately,
and it is necessary for the City of Santa Ana to have possession
of the hereinbelow described property as soon as possible.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
a manner consistent with the
least private injury.
That such acquisition is done in
greatest public good and the
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the attached map be entered
as Exhibit A and be used as an illustration of the hereinbelow
described property:
The Southerly 50.00 feet of Lots 1, 2 and 3 and the
Southerly 50.00 feet of the East 6 inches of Lot 4,
all in Block A of Spurgeon's Addition to Santa Ana
in the City of Santa Aha, as shown on a map thereof
recorded in Book 1, Page 56, Miscellaneous Record
Maps of Orange County, California and also shown
on a map recorded in Book 3, Page 175, Miscellaneous
Maps of Los Angeles County, California.
Together with the right and easement to enter upon
the remaining portion of said lands of the owner for
the purpose of severing and removing the portions of
any building on said parcel which lies partly within
and partly without the above described parcel of land
and for the purposes of constructing and maintaining
any shoring, braces, foundations or walls necessary
to support the remaining improvements on said remaining
portion of said lands after severing and removing there-
from said portion of building at any time within
days after the date possession is authorized as indicated
in the order for possession, or within 180 days after
Final Judgment in condemnation, for the above enumerated
purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Attorney is hereby
ordered to bring an action in the name of the City of Santa
Ana to condemn said property necessary to be taken and to do
all things necessary to prosecute said action to final deter-
mination.
