A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
iNA AMElqDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD THE
~EW CLASS TITLE OF IDENTIFICATION TECHNICIAN AND CHANGE
THE CLASS TITLE OF CRIME LAB ASSISTANT TO ASSISTAIqT
CRIMINALIST
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution
No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for employees
of the City of Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, after careful study of the positions and classifications assigned
to the Identification and Crime Laboratory Sections of the Police Department Technical
Services Division, it is now desired to amend the position classification and pay
plan by adding a new class title at an appropriate salary level and changing the
title of an existing class.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281,
as amended~ is hereby further amended by:
1. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the following class title at the salary
range number next herein set out:
CLASS TITLE
SALARY RANGE NISMBER
Identification Technician

2. Chan~ng the class title a~ Crime Lab Assistant to Assistant Criminalist.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this amendment shall take effect on the 6th
day of Ma~ , 1974.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its
regular meeting held on the 6th day of May , 1974.
