A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA PROCLAIMING APRIL 30, 1974, A NATIONAL DAY OF HUMI-
LIATION, FASTING AND PRAYER.
WHEREAS, the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America, in Congress assembled, proclaimed that
April 30, 1974, be a national day of humiliation, fasting and
prayer; and
WHEREAS, these august bodies called upon the people of our
Nation to humble ourselves as we see fit before our Creator to
acknowledge our final dependency upon Him, and to repent of our
national sins.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana does join in this proclamation and republishes
the admonitions of the proclamation adopted by our National Con-
gressiona] leaders.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of April ,
1974.
