A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMEI~)ING
SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD NEW CLASS TITLES AND CHA~GE
AN EXISTING CLASS TITLE IN THE SERIES OF CLASSIFICATIONS ASSIGNED TO
THE CHARLES W. BOWERS MEMORIAL MUSEUM DEPA1LTMEIFf
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution
No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for employees
of the City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; amd
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Aha
requires the City Manager to prepare~ install and maintain a positio~ classification
and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, after a comprehensive study of the positions and classifications
assigned to the Charles W. Bowers Memorial Museum Department~ it is new desired to
establish as integrated occupational career ladder within the Museum series of
classes by adding three new classes and changing the title of an existing class.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as
amended, is hereby further amended by:
1. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the following class titles at
the salary range n,~bers as next herein set out:

2. Changing the class title of Museum Technician to Museum Curator.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this amendment shall take effect on the
day of May , 1974.
