T~ING ACT OF 1973 (CETA)
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha has entered into an agreement with the Orange
County Manpower Commission to employ unemployed Santa Ama residents under the U. S.
Department of Labor's Comprehensive Employment Training Act (CETA); amd
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha, in assessing its unmet public service needs,
has identified a number of transitional-type jobs not included in its existing classi-
fication and pay plans; and
WHEREAS, such transitional jobs will be of a temporary nature inasmuch as the
funds for such jobs are contingent upon short-term funding of the CETA Program by the
federal government;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT P. ESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ama
approves the establishment of the following temporary classes at the salary ranges
indicated:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this Resolution shall take effect on the 18th day
of November, 1974.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ama at its regular
meeting held on the 18th day of November , 1974.
